Himacs exhibiting at SICAM 2022

Press release available only in original language.

HIMACS, together with Derve, the official distributor for the Veneto and FriuliVenezia Giulia regions, is among the exhibitors at the forthcoming  #sicam event, with a stand and materials display designed to present to the public the brand's most recent and innovative collections.

Since 2016 Derve, the official distributor of HIMACS for the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions, has taken part at Sicam, and 2022 is no different, with a stand entirely dedicated to the latest generation of Solid Surface. The exhibition space, designed by Marco Viola Studio, comprises two separate areas decorated with black MDF to bring out the visual and material qualities of HIMACS products.

The first of the two zones comprises an island in the centre of a room that features a top made of backlit HIMACS Aurora, while the second houses a 10-meter display wall for materials. The latter features a full-height video wall and three display zones, designed to showcase the HIMACS Aurora & #marmo, Intense Ultra and Recycled Colours collections, where visitors can learn about, touch and feel the incredible properties of Solid Surface.

The Aurora colours in the Marmo collection take as their inspiration the extraordinary natural beauty of the aurora borealis: the various tones mimic the elegant aesthetics of marble with shades ranging from soft to strong, combined with delicate, defined veins.

The Aurora colours evoke the fluidity of the sky; some are endowed with semitranslucent properties that allow creators to experiment with light for spectacular projects.

HIMACS Intense Ultra offers truly amazing performance and artistic results thanks to its innovative formula that combines Ultra-Thermoforming properties with Intense Colour technology.

Thanks to this composition, it is possible to obtain even more "concentrated" and resistant dark colours: the pigmentation remains uniform over time, without any loss of intensity during the processing of the Solid Surface. Moreover, the special formula

allows the material to be thermoformed with a very small internal radius of 6 mm without the least whitening effect, even with dark colours.

In addition to the Aurora and Intense Ultra collections, the "vertical materials display" will incorporate the environmentally friendly recycled colours range comprising up to 16% recycled material.

This collection has been granted the Greenguard Gold Indoor Air Quality certificate and is in part responsible for assignment of LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits for sustainable #design.
