Reflected Identities: Art meets design by Simon Berger for Gallotti&Radice
The Gallotti&Radice Flagship store (in collaboration with SalvioniDesignSolutions) will once again be transformed into an art gallery, following the success of the last editionwhich featured the“Unbreakable Identities” tableat its centre. A brand new collection ofmirrors“Reflected Identities”, a personal interpretation of the artist who once again succeeded in contami-nating Gallotti&Radice’s #design with his art. The boundaries between the work of art and the reflectedimage dissolve in a suspended time made of light and shadow, fullness and emptiness. The mirror istransformed into a ‘living canvas’, giving back the image of a double soul: the reflection of a real iden-tity in connection with the expressive force of feminine elegance, the utmost expression of the artist’sessence. A black lacquered metal frame frames a perfect circle made of two halves that enhance the space.Extralight mirror or Grigio Italia define the creative horizons of “Reflected Identities”, creating “life”where we least expect it, with a technique that is the reverse of common usage, the artist invokes thebalance of things and reminds us of the origin of our universe. Each blow of the hammer is a smallbigbang from which a constellation of energy lines emerges, capturing light and releasing a form thatuntil then was trapped in matter.
