The magic of Christmas returns to CASA SEAT

CASA SEAT is featuring a festive Christmas village themed display until 5 January for its Magic Days events. This year again, the space launches this initiative that offers Barcelona a Christmas experience with activities for the whole family and a decoration that extends throughout all the public floors of the building. 

"The Magic Days are our gift to the city's families. This year the creative concept is collaborative and the result of four intense months of work between the CASA SEAT team, Christian Escribà, TvBoy, Brook Agency, Fazeta and Dicom" declares Cristina Vall-Llosada, director of CASA SEAT.

Escribà was tasked with decorating the space and creating the three-dimensional figures with sweets and pastry works. A team of 25 pastry chefs has created more than 50 chocolate cookies and sugar pastes figures and toys, using 80 kilos of chocolate, 50 kilos of meringue and 150 kilos of candies and jellybeans.

Upon entering the main doors, visitors are welcomed to a Christmas Village bursting with colours, aromas, legendary figures and lights. On the ground floor, the public will be able to discover Santa Claus's house joined by his faithful companion Rudolph, a cookie shop, a toy factory, and the traditional Christmas tree of 5-meter-high, among others. The youngest members of the family can visit Santa Clausa until 23 December, and starting on 27 December, a royal page will collect the children's letters for the three Kings of Orient. Moving on, Santa's Garage is on the first floor, featuring a CUPRA sleigh designed by the brand's design team that's full of presents.

A new Magic Days event this year is a virtual reality experience for the whole family on the lower ground floor, where everyone can wear a VR headset to experience a Christmas interactive adventure that includes toys, snow, Christmas lights and a final surprise.

The iconic CASA SEAT advent calendar will once again take over the façade of the building located on the corner of Avenida Diagonal and Paseo de Gracia. This year, the designs are the work of urban artist TVBoy, known for his provocaive, contemporary art which highlights the different realities and social phenomena of today's world. It's a vertical exhibition on the façade that pays tribute to Barcelona through characters with close links to the city, such as Rosalía, J.A Bayona and Antoni Gaudí, which will be revealed when a new window is opened each day. The artwork can also be followed on CASA SEAT's Instagram account.

Finally, the CASA SEAT restaurant has also prepared a special gastronomic offer for Christmas with lunches and dinners, the traditional tea-time snack of hot chocolate with churros and groups menus available from 1 December to 5 January.

Access to the Magic Days is free of charge and it's open to the public until 5 January from 10 am to 8 pm Monday to Sunday, except on 24, 25, 26 and 31 December and 1 January. For more information and to book tickets, please visit www.casa.seat.
